Americans for Nonsmokers' Rights is calling for your support to help CEASE (Casino Employees Against Secondhand Smoke Exposure) and workers like Pete Naccarelli, Jr. win the fight for smokefree workplaces in the casino industry. CEASE co-leader Pete Naccarelli (pictured above speaking at a rally), a casino worker for over 20 years, is an advocate for smokefree workplaces and the health and safety of his colleagues.
“They are blowing smoke directly in our faces. There is no ventilation system. We are the filter,” Naccarelli said. “A lot of us have been in this business a long time. It is the only way we have to feed our family. We are worried about tomorrow. I’m worried about going to the doctor.” WATCH: News Coverage and hear Pete describe how casino workers feel
With your help, we can support CEASE and workers like Pete in their efforts to secure smokefree environments in casinos across the country. Every contribution makes a difference in our fight for smokefree air. For Atlantic City casino workers your contribution now will get CEASE to Trenton to appear at the first hearing on the bill to end smoking in casinos!
