About the artists
Sean Ardoin is a two-time Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter and Creole-Zydeco musician extraordinaire. Sean has performed at Carnegie Hall, festivals worldwide, and live on BET’s Comic View. He’s been featured in commercials and had his music used for movies and on TV. Sean founded the Creole Hall of Fame in order to recognize the Creole contribution to the world. Ronee Martin is a singer-songwriter and was signed as a recording artist to MoJazz Records/Motown. In addition to her illustrious singing career, she feels fortunate to have co-written, “This Is Love,” and have it recorded by one of her childhood idols: Gladys Knight. About this performance
Smokefree Music Cities, a project of the American Nonsmokers' Rights Foundation is proud host of this benefit concert to draw attention to the plight of many working musicians whose health is at risk because of secondhand smoke. There will be some special silent auction items to choose from to help support the cause.
